According to a study done by the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Department of Health, it was determined that 3 out of 100 Filipina women will be diagnosed with this deadly disease at some point in their life.

According to the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, the Philippines had the highest incidence of breast cancer among all 197 nations in February 2017.
