InLife Sheroes Heads Over to Ilocos for PLDT Gabay Guro

InLife Sheroes, a women’s movement started by the pair of Insular Life (InLife) and the International Finance Commission of the World Bank, joined thousands of teachers last March 3, 2020 for the PLDT Gabay Guro Teacherfest in Ilocos Norte.

As one of the partners of the PLDT Smart Foundation in this endeavour that celebrates the very important work our teachers do, InLife Sheroes took the chance to give back to these great individuals who set and strengthen the foundation of our nation – our dear teachers who shape minds and empower others to achieve success in their lives.

To get the day started, InLife Sheroes Ambassador and FQ Mom Rose Fres Fausto held a financial literacy session for teachers at the Kalipi Learning Center in Batac. It was aimed at helping them build their confidence when it comes to managing their personal finances. While our teachers devote their lives to helping others succeed, it is also very

important for them to learn how to improve their own lives by making better money decisions.

That same morning, in the Laoag City Auditorium, InLife Assistant Vice President Abigail Magtibay introduced the InLife Sheroes program to another set of teachers. She shared with those in attendance programs and solutions on financial literacy and health & wellness, among others, under the InLife Sheroes platform that could possibly be of help to them and their families.

The Gabay Guro experience would not have been complete without the Teacherfest, a special way of paying homage to our even more special teachers. Held at the Laoag Centennial Arena, there was a line-up of performances by no less than Regine Velasquez, Gabby Concepcion, Jaya, Randy Santiago, and so much more.
