Day 4: Goals to Get After in 2020

You can, if you think you can.

You might not have achieved everything you had set out to do in 2019. Or you might have achieved all of them and now you’re aiming for higher. Whatever your situation may be, the end of the year is always the best time to take stock of all that’s happened and to begin charting your course for the new year. After all, you can’t set out on a big journey without knowing your destination.

With 4 days left before Christmas, let’s get in on what four of our goal-getter Sheroes have committed to achieve in 2020.

    1. Abigail

Visit the doctor and get all those tests they said you need to have when you turn 40.

    2. Jo

Fitness goal! I have been trying to get toned and fit for the past few months but was not getting any better results. This 2020, I'm going to set my goals straight right there at the treadmill and those dumbbells, plus the appropriate diet.

    3. Mary

Trying for baby #2 has motivated me to reach my ideal weight. Being confident about myself and improving my health will not only make me reach my 2020 goals, it will also motivate be to become a better wife and mother.

    4. Camille

Spend more time together as a family. I went through a lot of changes in 2019 - mainly, starting a new job and changing addresses. I wasn’t able to spend as much time as I wanted to with my family. In 2020, I’m going to make sure we get to go on vacations, on nights out, and on adventures.

Big, small, long, mid, short - no matter how you classify your goals, the first and most important step is to set them. It helps identify what is truly important to you because that’s what you’ll be dedicating most of your time and effort to.

Take the time this holiday season to sit down on your own and with your family to talk about what you want to achieve in 2020 and how you can support each other. This simple exercise will definitely strengthen bonds as you get to learn and grow with each other.
